Governors, Parents and Teachers fully support the wearing of school uniform. It is kept simple and adaptable and we would appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

As a community school we do not insist on any branded school uniform being purchased from us but make this available to you.

Uniform – All pupils

  • Grey or black school style trousers or skirts
  • White shirt, blouse or polo shirt
  • Grey or red jumper/sweatshirt (no logos or designs other than the school logo)
  • Black school shoes (no platform shoes or high heels)
  • Trainers may be worn for PE only
  • White, black or grey socks or tights
  • All pupils must have a coat (children will be sent out in light rain and in the cold)
  • An old shirt or apron for art and craft activities

Summer- All pupils

  • Shorts or red and white checked dresses may be worn
  • Sandals are not permitted due to health and safety concerns
  • Hats should be provided for children to protect them from the sun

Jewellery – All pupils

  • Simple wristwatches may be worn ‘medic-alert’ bracelets may be worn if agreed with the headteacher
  • Simple, plain studs may be worn but must be removed or covered for PE
  • Small items of religious significance may be worn on a small chain, if agreed with the headteacher
  • Friendship bracelets, wristbands, ankle chains, and large hair decorations are not permitted in school

PE Kit

This will be sent home for washing at the end of each half term, but can be washed more regularly, please ensure that it is in school everyday.

  • Black plimsolls or trainers
  • Black shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings
  • White t shirt (this needs to be a change of shirt from the one they are wearing to school
