Welcome back!

Darren Armoogum

Dear Parents and carers,

My impression so far of Kingsway comes from the very warm welcome I have been given by everyone I have met so far.  I know that all the staff are highly committed to the children and work very hard for their benefit.

I believe that every child should be given an education that challenges them academically and provides support when needed. Teaching and learning should be inspiring, engaging and exciting with lots of opportunities for first hand experiences through trips and visitors.  I am passionate about working with parents to develop responsible, resilient, compassionate and aspirational young people.  I am looking forward to getting to know you all better so please come and say ‘hello’ on the playground or make an appointment to see me for a longer chat.  I would also like to welcome Miss Alyas as our new class teacher for Shields and Miss Emmanuel who will be supporting in year 4.
